We celebrated Diwali with dances and Rangoli pattern making with Room 11. In the Maori legend of how Aotearoa was discovered, Maui fished up the North Island Te Ika a Maui, and the South Island was his waka Te Waka a Maui. We performed the legend in a readers theatre style.
