In the northern summer of 1982, having completed my masters in Sydney, I did the European tour, spending 3 months on the continent and 1 in UK. I started in Athens and ended in London. Tuesday, 14 September 1982. I took this picture of the boarding gate for the Concorde. Service at Heathrow, another thing that has passed into history. This is not the plane I boarded, it was a Thai Airways flight as I recall.

My trip in Europe in 1984. Saturday, 25 August 1984. The last scenery pictures I took before leaving London for the USA were of the Notting Hill Carnival. Wednesday, 22 August 1984. Another trip I made was to Bangor in North Wales. It looks like I made a stopover at Chester since the trains passed there and took a picture of its Town Hall. My road trip of Eastern Canada. Tuesday, 9 September 1986. Back to Rochester, NY. On her way out, M reminded me to lock up as I leave. Unfortunately I let the door slam with still one item of my baggage in. As luck would have it, it was the one with my passport. So I tried the landlady.
