Lumb and her daughter brought in their guinea pigs, Barnabas and Bartholomew to visit our classroom. They are Texel guinea pigs which. Have a long coat that flows back over their body. Their coat is so distinctive because of its curls. The Texel guinea pig originated in England in the 1980s when a Silkie guinea pig was crossed with a Rex guinea pig. MrsLumb showed us how to groom and trim the coat of this breed of guinea pig. This week we are going to explore the topic of pets.
Tuesday, 5 May 2015. In our castles topic we had a visit from a Knight and enjoyed exploring the different pieces of armour. We went on a canal barge as we have been learning about canals with Mrs Wood. Thursday, 26 March 2015. Obstacle Course and Tug of war. Tuesday, 24 March 2015. As we have been learning about dinosaurs we decided to make a dinosaur egg shelter just in case the dinosaurs return! .
