We are a talented group of 23 enthusiastic learners at Normandale School, Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Saturday, 8 December 2012. Today we turned our hand to making ricotta. First we put milk and some extra cream in a pot and gently heated it until it was just boiling. Then we squeezed some lemon juice and added it to the pot along with some salt. It then had to simmer for a few minutes.

Friday, 7 December 2012. We went for a school picnic at Harcourt Park. We had a wonderful time playing games and on the playground with our friends. NZ Sign Language for Kura Kids. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Signing consists of using your hands, body and facial expression to communicate. NZSL is a two-handed method of signing. It is important to be able to see each others face and hands when signing. When signing we have a dominant hand, it will probably be the same hand that you write with. If you are left handed you will use this hand to form single hand signs and that hand will do more work.
